Ph3About The Role /h3 pWe are looking for a Business Development Managers based in bCatania /b /p pThis is a rare opportunity to become a founding and important member of a growing, well-funded company. You'll collaborate with Italy's most premium and regarded restaurants. /p pAs a member of the regional sales team, you will report to the Sales Lead and your role will focus on developing new relationships with restaurants and stores. /p pThis position is offered as a 12-month fixed-term contract. /p h3What You’ll Be Doing /h3 ul liMap, prospect, pitch and close new restaurants across your region in an organised fashion. This means being an area-level expert including knowing the up-and-coming restaurants and which restaurants customers crave most /li liSupport partners in joining Deliveroo, providing the best experience to them /li liCommunicate (physical visits, email, calls, or social media) with restaurants to demonstrate Deliveroo technology /li liHelp restaurant owners/managers overcome any barriers or hesitations /li liAttend restaurant and food meet-ups /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul liYou must be comfortable with targeting new business and have Sales Experience /li liThe job requires confidence or experience dealing with partners/customers, whether it be face-to-face, through phone or email /li liExperience in demonstrating product and industry knowledge to clients /li liYou will need to be comfortable with negotiations /li liKnowledge of the restaurant industry is a significant plus /li liYou will need to be tenacious /li /ul h3Why Deliveroo /h3 pOur mission is to transform the way you shop and eat, bringing the neighbourhood to your door by connecting consumers, restaurants, shops and riders.
