Your Career

The Major Account Manager partners with our customers to secure their entire digital experience. You're motivated by the desire to solve critical challenges facing our customers' secure environment, connecting them with solutions at every stage of threat prevention. This role significantly drives company revenue and growth. As an experienced and dynamic sales professional, you're responsible for leading and driving sales engagements.

Your Impact

* Drive and orchestrate large, complex sales cycles, collaborating with internal teams to serve the customer effectively
* Utilize consultative selling to identify business challenges and craft solutions for prospects and clients
* Understand the competitive landscape and customer needs to position Palo Alto Networks solutions effectively
* Create clear goals and accurate forecasts by developing detailed territory plans
* Leverage customer stories to craft compelling value propositions, highlighting specific benefits
* Stay informed on industry news and trends affecting our products and services
* Travel within your territory and to company-wide meetings as needed

Qualifications: Your Experience

* Experience with SaaS-based architectures, preferably in networking and/or security, with SASE knowledge preferred
* Proven experience in selling complex solutions using value-based and consultative sales techniques
* Technical aptitude to understand how technology solutions address business problems
* Ability to analyze problems, review data, identify root causes, and provide scalable solutions
* Build relationships with channel partners to support a channel-centric go-to-market approach
* Deep understanding of the full sales cycle and structured sales processes
* Holistic problem-solving skills, considering complex interrelationships and outcomes
* Excellent time management skills, capable of working autonomously and self-directed
