Location: UK OR Europe (Remote) How will you make an impact? You will focus on inbound journeys through to developing product order conversion across all European countries, working closely with the Digital Marketing and Category Management teams. This role will be fully remote (working from home), based anywhere in the United Kingdom or Europe. Occasional travel may be required to attend team meetings. What will you do? - Build ‘As-is’ and ‘To-be’ customer journey maps that form the category merchandising plan - Understand customer buying behaviours and draw insight and recommendations for product gaps or focus that can drive new products or convert existing - Build a content plan to capture the digital demand for customer contextual search, technical needs, or campaign that fits the journey map - Understand inbound traffic and digital marketing deployment to ensure the best 1st level content is in place and working optimally - Ensure key products, brands and suppliers are prioritised and represented within the customer journeys and improve advertising opportunities - Build scenarios for dynamic product recommendations in up-sell or cross-sell across all areas of the site - Understand how a customer might use onsite search and ensure the results are displayed with collaborative effort from ecommerce, production, product management and master data teams - Work with Category Management to understand the priorities and build a merchandising strategy based on multiple journey maps which represent each category - Co-ordinate effort to deliver assets with Marketing Production, Marketing Communication, Suppliers, Technical Service and partners needed to support the merchandising strategy - With support from product management, understand the gaps and harmonization/normalization of product data need to drive product search and selection - Where applicable build tools (such as selector guides) that help customers find the desired products quickly and easily - Ensure accurate tracking to drive reporting against conversion targets How will you get here? - Experienced in the operational side of running large eCommerce sites (essential) - Experienced in eCommerce Product Merchandising or similar (strongly preferred) - Experienced in marketing / sales, working with Life Science customers & products (desirable) - Fluent in English (essential), additional European languages a plus - Science Degree preferred (e.g. chemistry, biochemistry, biology), but not essential - Ability to use Microsoft Office; experience with MS Access is advantageous - Ability to translate customer / segment requirements into practical tools - A proven focus on the customer, combined with a commercial approach - Willingness and ability to travel occasionally within the UK/Europe (max 10% per annum) What’s in it for you: - Competitive base salary - Flexible working - Annual bonus - Private medical insurance - Flexible benefits About us: Our Mission is to enable our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner and safer.
