With an integrated ecosystem of acceptance systems (POS, e-commerce, omnichannel payments) and advanced payment management tools, we empower businesses to grow and simplify their financial processes. /ppbAbout The Role /b /ppWe are looking for a highly motivated and hands-on Senior Sales Executive with a proven track record of managing the full sales cycle—from prospecting to closing. This role requires a dynamic individual with a "get-it-done" mindset, focused on the Italian market. You will play a key role in expanding our Merchants Distributors segment, with particular attention to acquiring new Tier 1 and Tier 2 clients and developing new sales channels through strategic partnerships with ISVs (Independent Software Vendors). /ppbKey Responsibilities /b /pulliSales Execution : Own the end-to-end sales process, identifying opportunities, managing complex sales cycles, and closing high-value contracts. /liliMarket Development : Drive penetration in the Italian market by leveraging targeted strategies and your professional network to build impactful relationships with merchants and distributors. /liliClient Acquisition : Lead the acquisition of Tier 1 and Tier 2 clients, tailoring solutions to meet their unique business needs. /liliPartner Recruitment : Build new sales channels in the SME segment by finalizing and managing partnerships with ISVs. This includes : /liliConducting market analysis. /liliSetting budgets and defining KPIs for sales performance. /liliDesigning go-to-market strategies and execution plans. /liliIdentifying and onboarding new partners. /liliNegotiating contracts and defining business requirements for new products, with a focus on payment solutions for merchants (POS, e-commerce, third-party integrations). /liliCoordinating with OAM agencies for bundling solutions. /liliPipeline Management : Maintain a well-organized and updated sales pipeline, providing accurate forecasts and tracking key milestones. /liliCollaboration : Work closely with internal teams to align product offerings with customer needs, managing complex negotiations with multiple stakeholders. /liliTechnical Expertise : Provide clients with in-depth guidance on advanced payment solutions, including POS systems, acquiring, and payment acceptance. /li /ulpRequirements /ppbTechnical and Sales Skills /b /pliExperience : /liliAt least 10 years of experience managing the complete sales cycle (prospecting, negotiation, and closing). /liliAt least 5 years of experience in the payment solutions sector (acquiring, POS, e-commerce). /liliProven Expertise : /liliDemonstrated success in managing and closing complex, high-value deals, often involving multiple decision-makers. /liliFamiliarity with structured sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDICC) and a track record of closing six-figure or higher deals. /liliA strong network of contacts with Tier 1 and Tier 2 merchants and distributors in Italy. /lipbAdded Value /b /pliExperience in retail and distribution sectors is a significant plus. /lipbSoft Skills /b /pliProactive, resilient, curious, and entrepreneurial, with a strong ability to work independently. /liliFluent in English and Italian; proficiency in additional languages is a plus. /liliStrong ability to perform under pressure, adapt quickly, and execute with precision in a fast-paced environment. /lipbCompensation And Benefits /b /pliCompetitive fixed salary with 30% variable compensation based on sales performance. /liliOver-achievement bonuses. /liliComprehensive benefits package, including healthcare and welfare benefits. /lipFounded in 2016, Market Pay knows the European retail ecosystem and its payment stakes. /ppBased on its knowledge of payment within Carrefour Group, Market Pay is now providing its expertise and solutions on payment value chain to new clients.
