The Marketplace

Merchandiser leads the market merchandising function, ensuring product strategies are executed effectively to deliver consumer-centric assortments and profitable growth. This role is accountable for seasonal planning and in-season trading in the market. It plays a critical role in aligning global frameworks with local market needs, driving full-price sell-through, margin improvement, and operational efficiency.

Strategic Planning: Own market-level merchandising strategy, aligning global guidelines with local consumer insights and commercial objectives.
\n
Seasonal Range Management: Lead seasonal assortment planning and sign-off for the market, ensuring relevance and profitability across channels.
\n
Partner with GSC & relevant teams to incorporate key insights and market trends into the demand plan and reforecasting consensus, ensuring the most accurate and robust demand plan possible.
\n
Trading Leadership: Monitor weekly trade performance, identify risks and opportunities, and drive actions to optimise sell thru.
\n
Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with DTC product and B2B sales manager, retail managers and e-com manager, Marketing, and Supply Chain to deliver go-to-market plans and consumer experience standards.

Data & Insights: Ensure robust reporting and analysis to inform decisions; leverage insights to optimise assortments and trading actions.
\n
Uphold global merchandising principles, and brand positioning across all touchpoints.
\n
Commercial Acumen: Strong understanding of retail KPIs, margin management, and consumer behaviour.
\n
Advanced skills in forecasting, data interpretation, and scenario planning.
\n
Skilled at influencing and partnering across functions and geographies.
\n
Clear and confident communicator, capable of presenting to senior stakeholders.
\n
Proactive approach to resolving trading and inventory challenges.
\n
Experience with merchandising systems, planning tools, and advanced Excel.
\n
Ability to manage complexity and respond quickly to changing market conditions.
