Responsibilities
- The candidate will deal with production, assembling and completion of products/components related to railway signalling (electromechanical actuators, hydraulic actuators).
- Work in a production line or in a work cell organized and designed with lean principles.
- Maintain a clean and efficient work station by removing production scraps and wastes; in some cases he/she could perform ordinary maintenance activities.
Safety, Environment and Standards
- Respect EHS prescriptions and rules; wear all prescribed PPE for related activities and work station.
Qualifications and Experience
- A preferential requisite is previous work experience, even short, in production sites as an assembling operator.
- Basic knowledge of machining with lathe and milling machines is a plus.
- Competencies and skills:
- Capability to perform mechanical assembly of components and products
- Knowledge and ability to read a technical drawing (assembly and component)
- Knowledge and capability to use basic measurement tools and torqueing tools
- Knowledge and capability to use traditional milling and lathe machines for machining
- Ability to identify problems and malfunctions
- Capability to strictly follow written instructions
- Manual dexterity
- Good attitude for teamwork
- Professional accuracy and seriousness
