As Account Manager, you will be responsible for: The Service Projects Coordination (Copernicus Service Account Manager) plays a critical role in managing Copernicus data from contributing missions, providing oversight of technical, financial, and scheduling aspects to ESA. Responsibilities include obtaining technical requirements from stakeholders, shaping procurement proposals, defining financial models, mitigating risks, and ensuring successful project delivery. Each Account Manager is responsible for a specific thematic domain (Land, Marine, Security, Atmospheric, Emergency) and fosters communication across the service chain. The scope of work will include: Management of the Copernicus Services users. Organization and management of CSP Progress Reviews. Recording, tracking, and analyzing User Needs and their mapping in Data Warehouse Requirements (DWH). Supporting ESA in translating user needs/requirements into technical specifications for architecture and procurement. End-to-End Management of Copernicus Space Component Data Access (CSCDA) Datasets, including updates, status monitoring, and escalations. Quota management. Managing user surveys. Attending international meetings to gather future user requirements and identify EO application trends. Reconciliation and validation of CCME monthly reports. Supporting CSCDA evolution, including requirements definition, Tenders, and Operations scenarios. Providing technical support for ESA/EC requests. Monitoring technical interfaces (CCMs-CSCDA). Routine operations monitoring and quality control. Successful Candidate Degree in Physics, Engineering, Mathematics, Geography, or Geosciences. At least 5 years of experience in a Space EO industrial or research environment. Knowledge of ESA EO missions and operations. Understanding of EO science applications and the Copernicus environment. Proficiency with GIS tools. Experience in technical report writing, documentation review, and MS Office. Strong communication, analytical, negotiation, and team coordination skills. Result-oriented and user-focused mindset. Highly Desirable Skills Knowledge of CSCDA context. Project/Service Management experience. Familiarity with Earth Science research and EO data processing. Experience with OGC standards and INSPIRE Geo Portal. - Ability to work independently and motivate oneself. - Excellent communication skills and a convincing personality. - Creative thinking capabilities.
