Role Purpose
Key Account Manager (KAM) is responsible for achieving sales and market share targets for assigned customers. The KAM supports the Sales Head in monthly sales planning and contributes to the development and management of key sales processes and operational effectiveness.
KAM ensures efficient collaboration and information flow among all stakeholders within the assigned territory, including third parties (CMM, RAM, AM), wholesalers, distributors, and internal teams. They will also collaborate with the Regional Manager, who oversees regional distributors within the area.
Your Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
* Manage relationships with national wholesalers and/or pharmacy chains, ensuring achievement of sales targets.
* Lead monthly and annual sales planning activities for assigned accounts.
* Develop and implement sell-out strategies for wholesalers and pharmacy networks by coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
* Drive market share growth in indirect channels and assigned pharmacy accounts.
* Ensure performance against in-focus product targets across multiple business areas.
* Liaise with the FRA (O2C) team for credit and financial operations.
* Collaborate with Customer Service on billing processes and monthly cycles; coordinate with the Supply team on product allocation aligned with channel needs
* Ensure that all SANDOZ guidelines are duly followed in the sales organization. Ensure high level of corporate governance and compliance. Build and foster a team culture that aligns with SANDOZ values and behaviors

Essential Requirements
What you'll bring to the role:
* Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
* Solid understanding of the pharmacy and retail distribution channel.
* Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
* Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent command of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
* Fluency in English and Italian (written and spoken).
