DescriptionAbout the project:Project Director(s): Professor Juan Montero and RSCAS Director Erik JonesProject details: The Transport Area of the Florence School of Regulation (FSR Transport) at the European University Institute's Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies is dedicated to policy dialogue, policy-relevant research, training, and networkingin the area of transport regulation in Europe. It is concerned with the regulation of all modes of transport and a wide range of other topics related to digital and sustainable mobility.
Job description: The research assistant will provide support to the FSR Transport Project Directors. Main tasks include:
Drafting and editing research outputs, such as briefs, reports, and workshop summaries
Developing networks and communication channels with key stakeholders of FSR Transport
Contributing to the scientific organisation of workshops, and liaising the RSC Conference Unit taking care of event logistics
Performing analytical and research tasks in the area of transport regulation
Providing further assistance and performing additional tasks as required
Master's degree in a field relevant to the position
Proven analytical, writing and communication skills
Demonstrated knowledge of EU policy, and a willingness to learn about transport and network industries
Strong organisational skills and ability to set and meet deadlines gathered through previous experience
Proven ability to work in a team and to take initiative
