We’re looking for a Freelance Senior Machine Engineer to become the technical reference for new industrial plant projects, with a strong focus on safety, maintenance, and regulatory compliance.
\n
You will play a key role in ensuring full compliance with EU Regulation 2023/1230, guaranteeing safe, reliable, and maintainable industrial assets while working closely with Engineering, Maintenance, HSE, and suppliers.

🔧 What You’ll Do
\n
- Lead compliance activities for EU Regulation 2023/1230 and CE marking
- Support design, construction, and commissioning of new plants
- Coordinate risk assessments, functional safety, and cybersecurity topics
- Validate technical files, documentation, and Declarations of Conformity
- Define maintenance strategies for new assets
- Support audits and interactions with certification bodies
- Provide technical guidance and training to internal teams

🎯 What We’re Looking For

- Strong experience with Machinery Directive / EU Regulation 2023/1230
- Solid background in industrial plants and complex production environments
- Ability to coordinate technical activities and multiple stakeholders
- Strong focus on safety, compliance, and reliability

Nice to Have: Functional safety experience, cybersecurity knowledge, CE marking familiarity.
