The Junior Sales Manager manages the customers, both veterinary clinics and specialty pet retail stores, in the assigned territory.ResponsibilitiesAchieve territory sales targets by managing orders and collections through effective visits with customers and handling all the commercial/financial aspects while engaging internal stakeholdersMaintain accurate records in the Hill's reporting systemLeverage all company tools to drive execution (Product Distribution, Detailing material, Staff Feeding, Sampling, Trial, etc.)Clinic / Store Business DevelopmentProvide best-in-class professional support (detailing and merchandising), reach all key stakeholders in specified practices and stores, collaborate with the Pet Vet Affairs (PVA) team for effective planning and active participation during activitiesBrand awareness, full distribution and active endorsement by the veterinary profession of Hill's productsFull distribution, excellent visibility and active endorsement of Hill's products by store staffRapid acceptance, endorsement and distribution of new products; establish shelf space and adequate inventory within each storeMonitor achievement of territory objectives vs targets and develop strategies to address changes in the business environmentQualificationsMaster's degree in Veterinary, Animal Science or Business & ManagementPrevious sales experience (nutrition company, veterinary industry or pharmaceutical company)Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)Ability to persuade, negotiate and finalize agreementsCustomer orientation/Problem solving attitudeExcellent skills in time management, planning/priority setting, and managing budgetsProficient computer skills and ability to learn company-specific tools & programsFluent in Italian and good English are key requirementsValid driver's license requiredWorking RelationshipsReports to Field Sales Manager.
