The Technical Sales Manager will supervise all activities in the technical office and pilot line. They will coordinate Sales, Design, and Pilot line teams, maintain relationships with key customers, ensure products meet customer needs, negotiate contracts, and implement technical solutions.
Key responsibilities:
Coordinate the team of mechanical designers and pilot line
Support budget review
Coordinate development plans for contract projects involving embossing rolls
Interface with customers
Collaborate with R&D team to develop new embossing rolls
Propose innovative and competitive product development solutions to the Development team
Study and develop new methodologies to improve embossing rolls
Oversee projects from bidding to order intake
Scout for new customers
Analyze market and competition
Organize and participate in industry trade fairs and events
Qualifications:
Degree in Engineering or Industrial Design
Proven experience as a Technical Manager in an industrial environment
Knowledge of mechanical design
Fluent in both English and Italian, spoken and written
Ability to manage budgets
Willingness to travel as needed
Leadership skills to lead a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Goal-oriented with a customer focus
Ability to work under pressure
