In this role, you’ll take the lead in shaping Treatwell’s core payments systems — ensuring smooth, accurate, and timely money flows. You’ll develop simple, reliable, and compliant solutions supporting the financial operations of our platform, including partner payments, billing, invoicing, subscriptions, commissions, and chargebacks. A key focus will be maintaining compliance with regulations like DAC7 and PSD2 (and upcoming PSD3), while reducing manual work through automation. This role is vital to teams across our SaaS and Marketplace businesses. By managing and enhancing our financial infrastructure, you’ll enable faster product delivery, unlock new commercial opportunities, and improve experiences for our salon partners and internal teams. Your responsibilities include : Defining a clear, customer-focused roadmap for Treatwell’s Core Payments area. Managing the end-to-end money flow — from collection to payout — ensuring accuracy and transparency. Ensuring compliance with financial regulations such as KYC, DAC7, PSD2, and PSD3, while supporting fraud checks and risk management. Supporting the evolution of our partner subscription model with tailored pricing options. Overseeing billing, invoicing, commission calculations, and chargebacks — continuously seeking efficiency improvements. Collaborating with finance and operations teams to ensure reliable reporting and reconciliation. Partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure payment systems support their goals and unlock business value. Communicating priorities, trade-offs, and progress clearly to stakeholders, maintaining alignment. About you : Experience as a Product Manager, ideally in payments, fintech, SaaS, or Marketplace environments. Strong data analysis skills, with the ability to translate insights into scalable solutions that enhance customer experience. Experience working with financial systems like billing, invoicing, payments, and subscriptions, with a focus on simplicity. Familiarity with platforms such as Stripe, Adyen, or GoCardless, and understanding their challenges. Knowledge of compliance topics like KYC and DAC7, and experience collaborating with legal and finance teams. Interest in operational challenges, automation, and AI-driven solutions. Excellent communication skills, capable of bringing cross-functional teams together. Proactive, collaborative, and energized by fast-paced environments.
