E-Commerce Business Developer Corporate, Payment

What you'll be doing

As an E-Commerce Business Developer, you will play a key role in expanding Satispay’s network, focusing on acquiring and onboarding corporate merchants with a specific focus on online pure players. Your mission will be vertical: to independently manage the full sales cycle for strategic accounts, from initial contact through to go-live, ensuring effective project execution to integrate key merchants into Satispay's digital payment ecosystem.

Here's what your day-to-day will look like:

* Drive E-commerce Business Growth – By taking full ownership of a pipeline of corporate e-commerce prospects, guiding them through the acquisition cycle: from initial engagement and solution presentation to deal closure and successful activation (go-live).

* Lead Negotiations & Close Strategic Deals – By spearheading commercial negotiations with key digital stakeholders (e.g., E-commerce Manager, Head of Payments, CFO, Head of Digital) within structured organisations to secure strategic, long-term partnerships.

* Ensure Successful Merchant Go-Live – By meticulously managing the post-contract phase, taking responsibility for the client's journey until their Satispay service is fully operational (go-live), working in close collaboration with Integration, Key Account Management, and other relevant internal teams.

* Orchestrate Cross-Functional Collaboration – By leading and coordinating with internal teams – including Key Account Management, Solutions Integration, Marketing, Finance, and Legal – to ensure seamless onboarding and long-term success for strategic accounts.

* Manage CRM & Sales Pipeline – By autonomously utilising Hubspot CRM for meticulous pipeline management, forecasting, activity tracking, and reporting, while leveraging analytical skills to monitor performance against KPIs.

* Contribute to Achieving Ambitious Targets – By working with dedication and strategic insight to meet and exceed defined sales and activation targets for the role. Expect challenges, collaboration, and the freedom to bring your ideas to life.


Who we're looking for

We need a problem-solver who loves teamwork and gets things done. If you're curious and ready for real ownership, you'll fit in! Does this sound like you?

* Specific Experience in E-commerce and Payments – With at least 3-4 years of demonstrable experience in a Business Developer, Sales, or similar role focused on selling B2B solutions to digital-first clients. Experience in the payments industry, at a PSP (Payment Service Provider), or in the FinTech sector is a strong plus.

* Knowledge of the Online Payments Ecosystem – You have a solid understanding of the digital payments landscape. You are familiar with major PSPs, gateways, alternative payment methods (e.g., BNPL, wallets), and integration logic (APIs, SDKs, plugins).

* Expertise in Negotiating with Digital Players – A proven track record of managing and closing deals, with strong skills in building relationships and negotiating effectively with stakeholders and managers in digitally focused companies.

* Ability to Manage the Integration Process – Solid experience in project management, with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and drive initiatives from the contract stage through to a successful technical go-live.

* Analytical & Data-Driven Mindset – Strong analytical skills, including experience with sales forecasting, creating and using dashboards, and tracking KPIs to drive performance and strategic planning.

* Exceptional Communication & Interpersonal Skills – Outstanding ability to communicate (written and verbal), present, and influence effectively and persuasively, adapting your style to engage and build trust with diverse audiences.

* Results-Driven & New Business Focus – A powerful drive for achieving results and a relentless motivation to acquire new strategic clients in the e-commerce space.

* Proficiency in CRM tools – Experienced in using CRM systems (Hubspot is a plus) for effective sales process management.
