This role involves managing a team of engineering technicians, focusing on safety, training, and equipment availability by ensuring preventative maintenance and adherence to internal processes. /ph3Key job responsibilities /h3ulliLead, support, and mentor the team, ensuring safety, standards, and efficiency. /liliCollaborate with the team and network to develop solutions leveraging technical expertise. /liliSupport safety and compliance programs in partnership with site safety and leadership teams. /liliImplement network standards and preventative maintenance to maximize equipment availability. /liliOrganize training to ensure technical coverage for shifts. /liliManage local projects or support EU-level initiatives. /liliWork on shifts as needed to stay connected with the team. /li /ulh3Basic Qualifications /h3ulliSignificant practical engineering experience, including supervisory roles. /liliMultiskilled in electrical and mechanical disciplines. /liliExperience with automated equipment, packaging machinery, sortation, and conveyor systems. /liliProficiency in English and the local language at CEFR Level B2 or higher. /liliKnowledge of health and safety standards and regulations. /liliStrong computer skills (MS Office, CAD). /li /ulh3Preferred Qualifications /h3ulliBachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience. /liliKnowledge of all engineering and facilities equipment in Fulfillment Centers, including safety procedures. /liliExperience with PLC control systems. /liliProject management skills. /liliFamiliarity with CMMS programs. /liliExperience with Kaizen and Continuous Improvement processes. /li /ulpAmazon is an equal opportunities employer.
