Sales Manager – Italy
Leap29 are seeking a Sales Manager to join our client’s growing team in Milan. You’ll play a key role in driving the commercial strategy across solar PV, energy efficiency, and BESS projects throughout Italy. This role offers the opportunity to build strategic partnerships, lead proposal development, and secure new projects that deliver both technical and financial success.

Main Responsibilities:
* Identify and develop new business opportunities across PV, EE, and BESS sectors.
* Maintain a strong project pipeline to achieve quarterly sales objectives.
* Support the commercial team in building strategic partnerships and developing new market channels.
* Contribute to annual sales planning and forecasting.
* Drive productivity in line with group KPIs.
* Collaborate on branding and marketing initiatives to strengthen market presence.
* Adopt innovative technologies and working methods to enhance efficiency.
Requirements:
* Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Energy Engineering (or Economics as an alternative).
* 3+ years’ experience in a commercial or sales role within the decentralised energy sector (B2B).
* Understanding of business plans, project finance, and long-term contract structures.
* Strong relationship management and client engagement skills.
* Proven ability to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously.
* Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
* Willingness to travel frequently within Italy and occasionally abroad.
* Fluency in Italian and strong English proficiency.
* Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
