AWS Dedicated Cloud Engineer, Commerce Platform ADC

AWS Commerce Platform provides the infrastructure and services that enable AWS teams to sell their services to customers and manage infrastructure costs.
This position requires an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph and the willingness to obtain clearance for each government agency for which you perform AWS work.
Key Job Responsibilities
The ADC Commerce Platform team seeks highly motivated engineers focused on operational excellence and troubleshooting complex system operations. Key responsibilities include investigating root causes of customer issues, analyzing metrics, and innovating automation to improve operational processes.
A Day in the Life
On a typical day, engineers dive deep to find root causes of customer issues, analyze trends in metrics, or discuss new approaches to automate operational tasks.
About the Team
The ADC Commerce Platform team supports AWS Commerce Platform and is responsible for several hundred production services and pipelines, providing support that has far-reaching impact.
Basic Qualifications
- Associate's degree or above, or Cloud+ or GICSP or GSEC or SSCP
- 3+ years of systems administration (Linux or Windows) experience
- Experience with scripting languages (Python, Java, Perl, PHP, Ruby, Bash, Shell, or equivalent)
- 3+ years of work with networking fundamentals or Internet protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, SSL, DNS, HTTP/S, or equivalent
- Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret with SCI eligibility or above
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of cloud computing technologies experience
- 3+ years of work supporting procedures and methodologies for production computing environments
- Experience in networking and troubleshooting
- Experience with performance and log analysis

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $105,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $216,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
