Do you thrive in the orthopedic clinical environment, bring commercial experience, and want to make a meaningful impact with a progressive medical device manufacturer?Applied Medical Europe is seeking a driven and committed Business Developer – Orthopedics to support the expansion of our orthopedic portfolio across Northern Italy, collaborating with a newly established international team and working closely with our European Headquarters in the Netherlands.This field‐based position involves frequent travel across Northern Italy, spending significant time in operating theatres and visiting orthopedic centres that specialise in shoulder and hip procedures. Success requires integrity, confidence in peer‐level clinical discussions, and strong organisational skills.Main Responsibilities

Build, maintain and strengthen relationships with key orthopedic stakeholders and decision makers, including leaders, hospital administrators, associations and tender boardsDemonstrate the use of our orthopedic products to surgeons, nurses and clinical staff, providing onsite and post‐implementation supportConduct regular sales forecasting, territory analysis and develop a strategic sales planCollaborate closely with international teams in our European HQ and sales colleaguesDevelop deep expertise in orthopedic procedures and product applications; support and implement educational events and activitiesStay current with clinical data and communicate relevant insights to healthcare professionals
What you bring
Commercial experience, ideally within the medical device industryPrevious exposure to the operating theatre environmentExcellent communication skills in Italian and proficiency in EnglishLocated in a well‐connected area, ideally in Lombardia, Piemonte or the northern part of Emilia Romagna; able and willing to travel frequently (2‐3 days per week in each target area)Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to cooperate effectively with cross‐functional teamsA proactive, goal‐oriented mindset with an entrepreneurial approachHigher education (university level) and experience in Orthopedics are strong advantages
