The Window Service Technician Helper supports the service team in performing repairs, adjustments, and maintenance on installed windows and doors. This role involves assisting with troubleshooting, ensuring all tools and materials are ready, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, hands-on, and committed to upholding Storm Smart’s high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
* Assist the Window Service Technician in troubleshooting and repairing windows and doors.
* Prepare tools, materials, and equipment for service tasks.
* Perform basic repairs and adjustments under supervision.
* Help inspect installations to ensure proper functionality and compliance with company standards.
* Communicate professionally with customers and address their concerns as needed.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of job sites, vehicles, and tools.
* Follow all safety protocols and guidelines.

Required Skills/ Abilities:

* Proficient use of hand tools to include tape measure, level, saws, drills.

* Knowledge of aluminum, vinyl, and millwork products and repair techniques.
Education/Experience/Licenses/Certifications:
* High School Diplomaor equivalent
* Window & Door installation is a plus.
* Service & Measure Technician experience is a plus.
* General Construction knowledge preferred.
