Job Responsibilities
* Identify and Analyze Growth Opportunities for the Product Line(s)
* Lead the process of collecting, evaluating, and prioritizing growth ideas to maintain a quantified product roadmap
* Conduct and/or manage market research to identify, validate, and quantify opportunities
* Evaluate adjacent product lines and markets as potential growth opportunities
* Collaborate with business leaders to author sections of strategic growth plans
* Evaluate requests for RFQ’s and options relative to the business opportunity and define customer expectations, as needed
* Develop product specifications for development teams: define product requirements to meet customer needs and expectations based upon research findings and goals of the business
* Work closely with all other departments to ensure customer-driven developments and improvements meet expectations
* Develop, promote, and track effectiveness of competitive strategies: collect, review, and communicate competitive intelligence on products, market shares, value propositions, strengths, and weaknesses; formulate strategies to put company in winning positions relative to competitors; develop pricing strategies regularly with Sales and Business Leadership
* Define, communicate, and promote the product’s value propositions: ensure accuracy of information and consistency of messaging in all marketing collateral, sales tools, and training programs; assist with developing and communicating training programs; drive development of marketing plans for both new and existing products; provide sources of marketing content for promotions (articles, social media posts); participate in regional and national conferences and promotional tradeshow events
* Manage and develop Associate Product Manager as a direct report
Experience, Education And Skills Required
* Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Engineering, or Business Administration
* 5+ years of experience in Marketing, Engineering, Service, Sales, or other related business roles within a mobile equipment industry
* High level of initiative and competitiveness
* Strong mechanical aptitude to quickly understand, define, and train others in complex processes, operations, and equipment functionality
* Strong computer skills
* Ability to obtain CDL license
* Operational ability to effectively perform at all levels of the business with a proven track record in forming strategic relationships with customers and executive leadership
* Strong writer and communicator, bring the voice of the customer to all marketing deliverables
* Ability and willingness to train in pragmatic marketing and business financials
* Willingness to travel up to 25%
Salary Range
$90-110k
