Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Sales Manager with more than 10 years of proven success in the valve industry, specifically within the Power Generation, Water Treatment, and Industrial Process sectors across Europe. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in Safety Valves, Control Valves, and critical flow control applications, combined with a well-established network among EPC contractors, OEMs, utilities, and end users.
The role requires strategic business development capabilities, technical-commercial expertise, and the ability to manage complex sales cycles in highly engineered industrial environments.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute sales strategies to expand market presence across Europe within the Power and Water industries.
* Manage and grow relationships with key accounts including utilities, EPCs, OEMs, distributors, and industrial end users.
* Promote and sell Safety Valves, Control Valves, and related engineered valve solutions.
* Identify new business opportunities, market trends, and strategic projects.
* Lead commercial negotiations, contract discussions, and pricing strategies.
* Coordinate closely with engineering, product management, and operations teams to ensure customer satisfaction and technical alignment.
* Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and market analysis reports.
* Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and technical conferences across Europe.
* Support tendering activities and oversee the full sales cycle from opportunity identification to order closure.
* Maintain strong knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and certification requirements relevant to the valve and power sectors.
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related technical discipline.
* Minimum 10 years of sales experience in industrial valves, with a strong focus on:
* Power Generation, Water & Wastewater Industry, Safety Valves, Control Valves
* Demonstrated success in the European market.
* Strong technical understanding of valve applications and industrial process systems.
* Existing network within utilities, EPC contractors, OEMs, and industrial clients across Europe.
* Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
* Ability to manage complex international sales projects.
* Fluent English required; additional European languages are considered a strong advantage.
* Availability to travel extensively across Europe.
