Do you think that climate change can be solved with energy efficiency, renewables, and by electrifying all parts of our society? Do you want to contribute towards solving the climate crisis? If yes, this might be the opportunity for you! We are looking for a highly motivated sales professional with an entrepreneurial mindset to build Virta's business in Italy. You will be launching our sales activities in Italy with the aim of securing growth in the local market. You will be supported by sales organizations in Europe and collaborate daily with our product and technology teams. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an innovative company in the booming EV charging sector, contributing to the disruption of the energy industry towards a cleaner future.What you’ll doUnderstand customer needs and increase awareness of how to create electric vehicle charging businesses with Virta’s comprehensive platform solution.Focus on new sales development in Italy.Take ownership and deliver ambitious sales targets.Qualify prospects, develop, and execute new sales opportunities.Manage sales pipeline, forecast effectively, and close opportunities.What we offerOpportunity to be part of a growth story in e-mobility and build something new.Remote work possibilities and collaboration with a diverse international team.Competitive compensation package and company benefits aligned with the local market.What you’ll bringProven track record in selling complex solutions, with experience in software or service sales managing multiple cycles.Result-driven, self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills, capable of engaging C-level executives.Solution-oriented with a value-based selling approach.Interest in technology and a desire to learn about Virta’s products.Ability to build trusted relationships, manage accounts, and close deals.Strong understanding of the enterprise landscape in Italy.Existing contacts in Retail, Real Estate, Energy, or Fuel Retail are advantageous.Experience with sales methodologies like MEDDIC / SPIN.Knowledge of digital sales tools such as HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Cognism.Proficiency in creating presentations, business proposals, and conducting discovery workshops using tools like PowerPoint, Excel, and MS Teams.Fluent in English and Italian, both written and verbal.Willingness to travel as needed (national and occasional international travel).Legal right to work in Italy.About VirtaFounded in 2013, Virta aims to integrate electric mobility, energy systems, and digital sectors into one ecosystem.
