Job Description

Spin Master is a leading global children's entertainment company, creating exceptional play experiences through its three creative centres: Toys, Entertainment, and Digital Games. With distribution in over 100 countries, Spin Master is best known for award-winning brands PAW Patrol, Bakugan, Kinetic Sand, Air Hogs, Hatchimals, Rubik’s Cube, and GUND, and is the global toy licensee for other popular properties.

What will you work on?

The National Account Manager is the lead point of contact for all matters specific to his/her customers. They are responsible for building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships, overseeing customer account management, including negotiating contracts and agreements to maximize profit.

How will you create impact?

1. Developing annual business plans that deliver upon company goals and meet customer needs.
2. Deliver product presentations, business proposals, and ad plans to customers on time.
3. Understanding customer timelines and proactively providing all necessary information and materials for decision-making and effective business management.
4. Working with support teams to develop forecasts that reflect market realities; updating forecasts at least monthly.
5. Managing OA (spent vs Budget).
6. Reviewing actual performance timely and effectively to ensure goals are achieved, adjusting plans as necessary.
7. Managing customer-specific budgets and updating Salesforce accordingly.
8. Analyzing sell-through data and market intelligence to maximize opportunities and minimize risks.
9. Communicating clearly and efficiently with customers; providing quick solutions to challenges.
10. Working proactively and effectively with team members to deliver the best customer service.
11. Collaborating within a team environment, providing feedback and coaching to account management team members.
12. Gaining a thorough understanding of all account business objectives and marketing plans through multi-level and cross-functional contacts within your account portfolio.
13. Developing innovative sales and marketing-led account plans to maximize performance within each account.
14. Coordinating trade marketing and marketing activities within your accounts to ensure delivery of volume, distribution, and profit targets.
15. Maximizing account profitability through strategic business planning, including volume, revenue, margin, promotional work, and data-driven category solutions.
16. Working closely with accounts to agree on sales growth objectives while managing account selection processes.
17. Negotiating at senior levels to ensure long-term supply agreements and optimizing marketing mix elements.
18. Providing accurate forecasts and working with planning teams to ensure timely stock delivery.
19. Flexibility in managing various accounts.
20. Actively contributing to a solution-oriented culture, leading by example.
21. Maintaining and developing strong commercial and personal relationships with your account base to ensure Spin Master Italia remains a preferred supplier.

How will you fit into the team?

The National Account Manager reports to the Sales Director.

What are your skills and experience?

* Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role in the CPG or Toy industry preferred.
* Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or related area.
* Success managing a business portfolio with a national retailer, preferably in toys.
* Retail experience at store level or in retail planning is an asset.
* Customer-driven approach and a proactive attitude.
* Ability to build and maintain relationships internally and externally.
* Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); Salesforce experience is an asset.
* Strong organizational, planning, and communication skills.
* Goal-oriented with self-motivation, persistence, and determination.
* Ability to create and maintain business presentations, Excel files, and read POS reports.
* Demonstrated financial and negotiation skills.
* Ability to travel and hold a full clean driving license.
