About the role
As a Product Manager, you will play a key role in driving the success of your product line. Acting as a strategic interface between the market, customers, sales teams and internal stakeholders, you will contribute directly to business growth, customer satisfaction and market positioning.
This is a field-based, home-office position, requiring strong proximity to the market and customers.
Your responsibilities
- Drive product promotion through field demonstrations and customer interactions
- Train and support the sales force throughout the entire sales cycle
- Adapt and implement global marketing strategies at a local level
- Develop and execute the local marketing plan in line with business objectives
- Support new product launches and ensure successful market adoption
- Represent the company at congresses, conferences and industry events
- Collaborate with international teams to share insights and best practices
- Prepare and manage technical documentation for public tenders
- Define product configurations in collaboration with sales teams
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely and compliant submissions
Market Analysis & Business Performance
- Monitor market trends, competitors and customer needs
- Identify growth opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly
- Track product line performance and contribute to forecasting
- Support pricing strategy within global guidelines
- Product scope: Surgical Workflow (capital equipment such as operating tables and surgical lights)
- Territory: Northern and Central Italy, including Sardinia
- Location: Home-based, with expected residence in the Milan area (Cinisello Balsamo office available, no mandatory presence)
- Travel: Daily travel required with frequent overnight stays (on average 2 nights per week)
Your profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar Product Management role
- Experience in the operating room environment is a strong plus
- Fluent Italian and professional level of English (written and spoken)
- Strong marketing and product positioning capabilities
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
