VEHICLE INTEGRATION RESPONSIBLE (BEV projects)
The Vehicle Integration Responsible will operate within the Project team and collaborate closely with the Technical Lead (Chief Engineer). This role involves leading operational technical developments at the vehicle level, integrating hardware (HW) and software (SW) contents from requirements management and concept selection to target achievement and project release.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Governance of vehicle requirements, including status overview and deployment to system and component levels.
2. Monitoring vehicle target achievement against test cases in collaboration with Verification and Validation Engineers.
3. Identifying technical plan risks and ensuring consistency with prototypes and testing milestones, including HW and SW integration.
4. Driving technical development at the vehicle level and coordinating internal and external stakeholders.
5. Guiding technical trade-off processes, managing conflicts, and driving the team to identify alternative solutions.
6. Managing technical issues from identification to solution implementation.
7. Defining and verifying key vehicle-level attributes and features specific to BEV vehicles.
8. Analyzing BEV-specific testing data, such as battery thermal performance and range testing, along with FMEA and DVPs, and recommending countermeasures.
9. Implementing corrective actions as needed.
10. Managing conflicts related to systems engineering within the project.
11. Providing technical leadership and challenging proposals to ensure optimal BEV system solutions.
12. Supporting cross-functional alignment and ensuring effective communication of project development aspects.
13. Ensuring on-time delivery of high-quality results.
Requirements:
1. Master's degree in mechanical, automotive, electrical, or electronic engineering.
2. Deep understanding of commercial vehicle development processes.
3. Significant technical experience with BEV commercial vehicles.
4. Strong knowledge of BEV development and integration processes.
5. Experience in vehicle requirements management and deployment to system targets.
6. Familiarity with vehicle architecture and integration processes.
7. Comprehensive understanding of BEV vehicle performance and attribute requirements (e.g., safety, NVH, durability, drivability).
8. Ability to analyze CAE and test results.
9. Experience with Design Validation Plans (DVP) and prototype/testing plans.
10. Knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering.
11. At least 5 years of experience as a Vehicle Integration Responsible is preferred.
