UlliLead the GDT process and activity related to BUY systems / Components up to vehicle level /liliIdentify the critical components that contribute to the tolerance chain definition in critical matches, both for aesthetical and functionality. Perform tolerance analysis (sigma 4 and sigma 6) to assess the effect of dimensional and geometrical tolerances to guarantee systems functionalities and the proper level of perceived quality for aesthetical parts /liliWork in team with Process Engineering for the tolerance chain analysis and RPS definition based on production statistic data. /liliAnalysis of matching areas between aesthetical surfaces to identify the most critical in terms of perceived quality /liliWork closely with design and production teams to resolve any issues related to flush, gap and tolerance chains, from their definition, collaborating with Style department, up to the final assessment with Plant Quality department /liliCollaborates with Systems Responsible for the ongoing projects in reference system and critical characteristics definition /liliPerform Risk Analysis to identify the problem deriving from negative GDT analysis to identify the systems that are most convenient to act to solve the issue. /liliSupport the SQE team to the assessment of Geometric characteristics of the Buy system/component and, when requested, refine the tolerance chain evaluation. /li /ulpMain background requested: /pulliBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar; /liliExperience in similar roles (preferably in the automotive sector) of at least 3 years; /liliKnowledge of vehicle design processes and system engineering techniques; /liliKnowledge of 3D modeling software (Catia), issuing 2D drawings; /liliKnowledge of body components (interior and exterior); /liliAbility to draft project documentation (e.g.: system/subsystem technical specifications) and understanding of tender specifications, regulations and industry standards, documents and technical specifications, etc.; /liliExcellent interpersonal and coordination skills and ability to work in a team; /liliAbility to work with tight deadlines and under pressure; /liliKnowledge of MS Office, Outlook and project management tools (e.g.: MS Project); /liliExcellent knowledge of the English language (spoken and written); /liliExperience with Agile methodology for project development (plus). /li /ul #J-18808-Ljbffr
