KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER - ELECTRICITY AND GAS SALES

We are currently searching for a Key Account Manager in S&EM Italy, based in Milan.

ENGIE Supply & Energy Management (S&EM) provides energy supply solutions and risk management services to support its clients through their decarbonization journey, while optimizing ENGIE’s assets and contributing to value creation.

What will you do?

We are looking for a talented Key Account Manager to join our sales team and manage relationships with our strategic B2B customers in the electricity and gas sectors. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining long-term partnerships, understanding client needs, managing portfolio hedging, and proposing solutions that meet their objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

* Building and maintaining strong relationships with key electricity and gas supply customers;
* Understanding clients' business goals, challenges, and opportunities;
* Developing new business with existing and new accounts;
* Negotiating contracts and ensuring the timely delivery of products and services;
* Being available during market hours to support hedging activities;
* Participating in structuring and developing new products and services;
* Monitoring customer satisfaction and resolving issues or complaints;
* Staying updated on market trends, competitors, and customer needs;
* Identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities within existing accounts;
* Providing internal feedback to improve offerings and maintain competitive advantage;
* Supporting team spirit and backing up colleagues as needed.

About You

* Experience as a Key Account Manager in the electricity and gas sector, or motivated individuals eager to learn, with experience in customer interactions and problem-solving;
* At least five years of experience in the electricity and gas markets, products, and regulations;
* Excellent stress management skills, with the ability to react quickly in high-pressure scenarios;
* Fluent in English and Italian;
* Strong team spirit and understanding that team results are a priority;
* Ability to build rapport and trust with customers and stakeholders;
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills;
* Analytical and problem-solving skills;
* Self-motivated and results-oriented;
* Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field;
* Willingness to travel;
* Knowledge of a third language is a plus.

Type of contract:

Permanent contract according to local labor law.
