Overview
For one of our clients in the Turin area, we are looking for a HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) Test Engineer with experience in the development, configuration, and validation of complex systems.
Responsibilities
* Install and configure HIL systems, communication interfaces, and peripherals.
* Configure and validate communication protocols (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet).
* Perform hardware/software integration tests to verify the correct functionality of the test bench.
* Create and manage fault-injection configurations to simulate failures and test system robustness.
* Analyze and troubleshoot issues related to signals, communications, and HIL system performance.
Requirements
* Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, Computer Science, or Automotive Engineering.
* At least 1–2 years of experience in Hardware-in-the-Loop.
* Hands-on experience with HIL systems (preferably dSPACE SCALEXIO, NI, Vector).
* Strong knowledge of Matlab/Simulink and real-time modeling.
* Familiarity with communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet) and Vector tools.
* Good programming skills in C and Python.
* Understanding of embedded systems and ECU architectures.
* Excellent knowledge of Italian and English.
* Willingness to travel when required.
