This dramatically improves productivity and lowers capital/operating costs. /p pHPE Networking has an immediate opening for a team‑oriented, highly effective and motivated Sales Engineer to be part of the Sales Engineering team, based in Rome. /p pThis position will provide the right candidate an outstanding opportunity to work on Industry‑leading technology including AI enabled, cloud‑based networks, software defined networks and cybersecurity in some of the most advanced network deployments in Italy. /p pThe primary responsibility of this role is to help develop opportunities and drive sales of HPE Networking solutions into Enterprise accounts. /p h3Day To Day /h3 ul liYou will partner with account teams and mentor other SE’s to bring the best solutions to our customers and foster long‑term, trusted technical and business relationships. These are some of the most critical customer relationships in the region for HPE Networking. /li liAdvise customers on short‑and long‑term product directions so that they can make the best decisions possible for their digital transformation. /li liDeliver compelling presentations, develop technical solutions and corresponding business cases to promote HPE Networking products and solutions to customers and partners. /li liExtensive experience with large complex Requests for Proposals (RFP). /li liWith sales staff, assess potential application of company products/solutions to meet customer needs and prepare detailed product specifications for the development and implementation of customer products/applications/solutions. /li liWork on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in‑depth evaluation of variable factors. /li liChampion and evangelize HPE Networking cutting edge experience‑first and self‑driven infrastructure solutions. /li liWork with vendor partners to help drive business and deliver demand generation events. /li /ul h3What You Bring To The Table /h3 ul liProven track record of the technical pre‑sales engineering process and the sales processes applied to enterprise accounts. The candidate must demonstrate extensive experience in designing and selling complex enterprise solutions into these segments. /li liAmazing presentation skills and the ability to discuss highly technical concepts to a variety of audiences, including executive level technical decision‑makers. /li liUnbreakable customer relationships as a trusted advisor. /li liExperience presenting at technical road shows and Industry events. /li liTechnical sales leadership for major opportunities and hands‑on expertise for customer demonstrations and proof of concepts (PoC). /li liA strong network of relationships outside of own area of expertise; focus on networking opportunities likely to be of considerable strategic or long‑term value. /li liStrategic sales strategy building at the account / deal level. /li liCompetitive knowledge, including solution, technology and product offerings. /li li5+ years of related pre‑sales, technical sales experience. /li liFluent English and Italian /li /ul h3Practical Requirements /h3 ul liKnowledge of industry‑based solutions, network architectures, cloud‑based solutions and security architectures. /li liA working knowledge of advanced enterprise solutions and architectures including: AI‑Driven networks, automation, campus and branch networks, wireless networks, Security, SD‑WAN, MPLS and Data‑center architectures. /li liMust have technical‑sales experience working with Account Executives and have a strong background in selling advanced networking security solutions to meet customer business needs. /li liRelevant HPE Juniper experience and certifications are desirable - Ideally advanced knowledge across Juniper Networks products including Juniper Mist, EX, QFX, SRX, MX, ACX, PTX, JUNOS and cloud solutions. /li liHPE Aruba experience and certifications are desirable, including ACMA, ACMP, ACMX, and ACDX. /li liEquivalent knowledge of, and experience with other vendor’s equipment will be considered, as will be recognized, non HPE Networking (Juniper and Aruba) certifications. /li /ul h3Additional Skills /h3 ul liAccountability, Accounting, Active Learning, Active Listening, Assertiveness, Bias, Building Rapport, Buyer Personas, Coaching, Complex Sales, Creativity, Critical Thinking, Cross‑Functional Teamwork, Customer Experience Strategy, Customer Interactions, Design Thinking, Empathy, Financial Acumen, Follow‑Through, Growth Mindset, Identifying Sales Opportunities, Industry Knowledge, Intellectual Curiosity, Long Term Planning, Managing Ambiguity {+ 6 more} /li /ul h3What We Can Offer You /h3 pHealth Wellbeing: We strive to provide our team members and their loved ones with a comprehensive suite of benefits that supports their physical, financial and emotional wellbeing. /p pPersonal Professional Development: We also invest in your career because the better you are, the better we all are.
