PpIts fun to work in a company where people truly BELIEVE in what theyre doing! /p h3Job Description Summary /h3 pThe Senior Sales Engineering role will support Account Executives in new and existing partner relationships as well as direct business in order to grow revenue opportunities. /p pRocket Software Sales Engineers are experienced technical professionals with an extensive enterprise software sales background who can successfully be the technical sales lead on software opportunities to progress and close business and must function well as a member of a dynamic team while having the ability to also work independently to progress and close business. /p h3Essential Duties and Responsibilities /h3 pEasily relate to customer challenges and provide clear non-technical value-based solutions. /p pPresent solutions to customers and partners with or without sales support. /p pSupport partners in all aspects of the sales process. /p pSuccessfully convey technical details to a non-technical audience as well as foster credibility with more technical audiences. /p pProvide knowledge and skills to help qualify business opportunities by understanding the user requirements and technical environment. /p pProvide ongoing mentoring and guidance on all software components design techniques methodology and delivery concept to partners. /p pActively participate in training and mentoring activities of other members of the Sales Engineering team. /p pHandle objections professionally; answer questions quickly and coherently; deal with challenges assertively and persuasively. /p pSelf-manage assignments and administrative tasks managing multiple projects simultaneously from start to finish. /p pActively engage with other areas of the business including product marketing and product development so as to ensure Rocket is seen as the vendor of choice in the market. /p h3Required Qualifications /h3 pA minimum of 8 years of relevant sales engineering experience. /p pMainframe experience. /p pGUI Design API and Modernization experience. /p pREST services and other application development skills and experience. /p pFamiliar with relational and non-relational database design. /p pStrong problem solving and requirements gathering skills. /p pStrong written and verbal communication skills. /p pHighly motivated and comfortable taking on a variety of tasks in order to satisfy business requirements. /p pDetail-oriented and can rapidly learn and take advantage of new concepts and technologies. /p pAbility to work independently and engage team support as required. /p pAbility to prioritize and manage workload to meet defined deadlines. /p pMust be comfortable working in a rapidly changing and sometimes unstructured environment. /p pExcellent verbal and written communication skills in Italian. /p h3Information Security /h3 pInformation security is everyones responsibility.
