Please submit your CV along with a cover letter outlining your relevant experience and motivation for applying. /p h3Role Overview /h3 pWe are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Business Development Manager with very high experience in in‑licensing successful products to drive international growth in the pharmaceutical sector with a primary focus in Spain and Italy. The successful candidate will lead in‑licensing activities, forge strategic partnerships, and expand our presence in global markets, with a special emphasis on strategic commercial expansion across Europe, particularly in Spain and Italy. This role requires a strong track record in pharmaceutical in‑licensing, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to build and maintain high‑value relationships with key stakeholders worldwide. /p h3Pre‑requisites /h3 ul liSignificant experience in pharmaceutical in‑licensing and international business development, ideally with added‑value products, niche therapies, biosimilars, specialty pharmaceuticals, or high‑value generics. /li liProven track record in negotiating and closing high‑value in‑licensing and distribution agreements. /li liEstablished network within the global pharmaceutical industry, particularly in Spain, Italy, and broader EU markets. /li liStrong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to evaluate market opportunities and risks. /li liVery proactive and enthusiastic manager with a pragmatic, results‑driven approach, excellent ability to work autonomously. /li liExcellent communication, presentation, and relationship‑building abilities. /li liFluent in English (both written and spoken); knowledge of Spanish and/or Italian is a strong plus. /li /ul h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ol liIn‑Licensing ul liIdentify and evaluate opportunities for the in‑licensing of pharmaceutical products, with a focus on Rx, specialty, and high‑potential therapies. /li liSecure strategic partnerships with global or regional developers/manufacturers. /li liLead end‑to‑end negotiations, from initial engagement through to contract execution, including licensing and distribution agreements. /li liEnsure all in‑licensing activities are fully compliant with internal governance, regulatory frameworks, and local/international laws. /li /ul /li liStrategic Market Expansion ul liConduct in‑depth market research and competitive intelligence to assess potential for portfolio growth, using both external data and personal network insights. /li liDesign and implement market entry and expansion strategies, particularly within Europe, with a primary focus on Spain and Italy. /li liBuild and present robust business cases to support in‑licensing decisions and investment planning. /li liTrack and evaluate the commercial performance of in‑licensed products across target markets, proposing adjustments as needed. /li /ul /li liStrategic Alliance Stakeholder Management ul liIdentify and assess potential strategic partners whose assets or capabilities align with company growth objectives. /li liEvaluate partners based on product portfolio, geographic coverage, regulatory readiness, and commercial fit. /li liDevelop and execute partnership frameworks with clear objectives, responsibilities, and measurable KPIs. /li liFoster and maintain long‑term, trust‑based relationships with external partners and internal stakeholders. /li liServe as the main point of contact for partner organizations, ensuring smooth collaboration and aligned execution. /li /ul /li liNegotiation Risk Management ul liLead negotiations to define mutually beneficial terms, ensuring clear allocation of responsibilities and rights. /li liEnsure all agreements are legally sound, commercially viable, and aligned with the companys strategic interests. /li liProactively identify and manage risks associated with partnerships, including legal, operational, and reputational risks. /li liDevelop and maintain contingency plans to mitigate potential partnership disruptions. /li /ul /li liReporting Market Intelligence ul liMaintain detailed and up‑to‑date records of all licensing agreements, communications, and partnership KPIs. /li liProvide regular reporting to senior management on progress, risks, and strategic opportunities. /li liMonitor industry trends, regulatory changes, competitor moves, and emerging opportunities to guide business development efforts. /li liContribute to the continuous refinement of the licensing strategy based on insights and market evolution. /li /ul /li /ol h3Why Join Us? /h3 ul liOpportunity to play a key role in shaping the companys European and global growth strategy. /li liWork in a fast‑paced, international environment with high‑impact decision‑making. /li liBeing the first in the BD Dept. /li liCompetitive compensation package with performance‑based incentives, as an industry first‑mover, our company offers also a percentage on sales of products secured in your portfolio, creating a unique opportunity to directly benefit from your success. /li /ul h3Seniority level /h3 pNot Applicable /p h3Employment type /h3 pFull‑time /p h3Job function /h3 pBusiness Development and Sales /p h3Industries /h3 pBusiness Consulting and Services /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
