As a truly global company, we value the diversity of roles and skills within our team, with colleagues from nearly 30 nationalities collaborating towards a common goal. /p pWith our head office in Vantaa and our factory in Kerava, Finland, we have a global reach with subsidiaries in France, Germany, Italy, North America, Spain, Sweden, the United Kingdom, and China. /p h3About the role /h3 pWe are looking for a highly motivated and technically oriented Sales Manager with proven experience in complex technical solutions to strengthen our Building Construction business in all Italian territory (increasing the actual market share, penetrating new verticals, using new sales channels, etc). /p pThe position will play a strategic role in expanding Marioff’s presence in the building construction market — targeting infrastructure projects such as Offices, Hotels, Hi-Rise Buildings, Cultural Heritage, etc. /p pThe ideal candidate will combine strong technical understanding of fire protection systems with proven sales leadership in complex B2B environments. This person will be responsible for driving growth, building long-term client relationships, and delivering tailored HI-FOG® Water Mist solutions for building applications. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liDevelop and implement the bcommercial strategy /b for the building construction market in Italy. /li liIdentify, acquire, and manage new projects and customers in building construction. /li liWork closely and establish strong relationships with design companies, MEP designers, firefighting consultants, end users, public authority, to define and promote compliant and efficient fire protection solutions. /li liManage the end-to-end sales process, from feasibility study and quotation to deal closure with all involved stakeholders. /li liEnsure customer satisfaction and long-term account retention through consultative sales and continuous support. /li liRepresent Marioff at marketing events promoting the benefits of HI-FOG® Water Mist technology. /li liMonitor market trends, competitors, and regulatory changes to identify growth opportunities. /li liAchieve order intake, sales, margin and customer development objectives in line with company targets. /li /ul h3Experience /h3 ul li5+ years of proven experience with proactive B2B business development sales activities, preferably from the fire protection industry (fire suppression, sprinkler system sales experience is highly preferred) /li liProven track record (yearly order intake, number of won projects, served customers) in selling complex technical systems /li liExperience managing complex, consultative B2B sales processes with long decision cycles /li liEstablished relationships with all stakeholders involved in the sales process (for example design companies, firefighting consultants, MEP consultants, general contractors, end users, public authority, etc) in the Italian building construction market. /li /ul h3Skills and Attributes /h3 ul liFluent in Italian and English (both written and spoken). /li liStrong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills. /li liStrong in value and solution selling /li liExcellent technical-commercial communication abilities. /li liHigh level of autonomy, analytical mindset, and goal orientation. /li liTeam player with a consultative, problem-solving attitude. /li liAbility to maintain high motivation and focus on targets even in challenging market conditions /li liProficient in MS Office, CRM systems, and sales reporting tools. /li /ul h3Education /h3 ul liBachelor’s Degree in Engineering (or equivalent technical background) /li /ul h3Preferred Qualifications /h3 ul liSales Experience in a water mist manufacturer company /li liPrevious role in multinational or engineering driven environment /li liKnowledge of water mist standards such as UNI EN 14972, NFPA 750, and VdS/FM guidelines. /li liA strategic role with high visibility and real business impact. /li liCompetitive compensation package, including performance-based incentive bonus /li liCompany car, laptop, mobile phone, and digital tools for mobility and efficiency. /li liA dynamic, inclusive, and innovative work environment where safety and sustainability drive every decision /li liOpportunity to join a global leader in Water Mist fire protection systems. /li liSmart, flexible working opportunities when you’re not travelling /li /ul h3Our Commitment to You /h3 pWe offer you a dynamic and international work environment in a company with high technology products, a strong growth strategy and people who are passionate about safety.
