OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Direct Sales Manager to lead and drive sales growth for the medical device portfolio across Italy. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing direct sales activities, developing strategic relationships with hospitals and healthcare providers, and achieving revenue targets within the Italian market. This role requires strong leadership, commercial acumen, and a deep understanding of the medical device market, hospital procurement processes, and clinical stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Sales Strategy & Execution Develop and implement a national sales strategy to achieve revenue and market share targets across Italy. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within hospitals, clinics, and healthcare systems. Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation through contract negotiation and closing. Drive territory planning and account strategies for key healthcare institutions. Key Account Management Build strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), surgeons, clinicians, and hospital administrators. Manage strategic accounts including university hospitals, private hospital groups, and purchasing organizations. Support tender processes and negotiate pricing agreements and contracts. Market Development Analyze market trends, competitive activity, and customer needs. Collaborate with marketing, clinical, and regulatory teams to support product launches and campaigns. Represent the company at medical congresses, conferences, and industry events. Compliance & Reporting Ensure all sales activities comply with Italian healthcare regulations and company compliance policies. Maintain accurate sales forecasting, pipeline reporting, and CRM
