Overview RINA is currently recruiting for a Business Development Manager to lead in selling Ecological transition & sustainability services to new prospective clients as well as an existent client base. Identifying business development opportunities appearing through ecological transition, legislation or market conditions. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of EU energy and carbon legislation, market trends, new technology and green energy solutions. Responsibilities Actively identifying and prospecting existing customers and potential new clients for our Ecological Transition & offering to build a relationship and a pipeline Business to business field sales - presenting the Company’s sustainability product offering Support the Sales and Large Account team in sales process and competence building on the Company’s Ecological Transition & Sustainability solutions Working closely with key service delivery business partners across the company Attending and supporting internal and external corporate events, networking and associated lead generation Pro-actively setting up and delivering high-impact business and technical proposals and closing business opportunities Explore opportunities for alliances and partnerships to exploit new markets and opportunities Track competitor activity and provide timely updates on competitor news and intelligence to the team Prepare and submit timely and accurate monthly reports of business development activities delivered and planned Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental engineering, Sustainable Finance or similar Solution selling experience of at least 3-5 years is essential, preferably in the energy & manufacturing industry Comprehensive understanding of Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance Knowledge of Climate Change policies and European energy and carbon legislation Full appreciation of the Ecological Transition, the implications for businesses and opportunities that result Excellent face to face sales presentation delivery skills Strong analytical, oral and written communications skills Capability to both work alone and as part of a dynamic team, as required Ability and willingness to travel nationally and at times, within Europe Fluent in English Tenacious character and a genuine passion for sustainability Applications that are not in line with the requirements will not be considered.
