Ph3Role Overview /h3 pXylem is seeking a Business Development Manager – Vertical Markets within the Transport division.
The role involves promoting the division portfolio by searching and developing different verticals, conducting market analysis, and enhancing business growth targets.
/p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liEnsure the best Technical/Market Price is delivered to our customers.
/li liDesign customized solutions applicable to the specific vertical.
/li liDrive new product launches within a specific market alongside the Marketing department.
/li liIdentify strategic product pricing.
/li liMaintain accurate data and leverage insights to identify opportunities and build actionable plans against KPIs.
/li liBuild strong partnerships with internal stakeholders to identify indirect specific sales channels.
/li liConduct deep market study and analysis to serve new or growing vertical markets.
/li liCoordinate with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to ensure smooth execution of the sales process.
/li liGenerate reports and dashboards to track results from each vertical and highlight areas for improvement.
/li liContribute to process improvements and system enhancements to support scalable vertical markets growth.
/li liCollaborate closely with the local salesforce to achieve the business growth defined by the segment strategy.
/li liEnsure a higher win rate by conducting post-mortem analysis on lost cases with sales.
/li liManage priority among customers with a hunter mindset and proactive approach to ensure the best quotations and offer follow-ups.
/li liIdentify possible partnerships with third parties to enhance the approach to the vertical market.
/li /ul h3Minimum Qualifications /h3 ul liBachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field or equivalent experience.
/li li5+ years of experience in business development or sales in the industrial sector.
/li liStrong organizational skills and attention to detail.
/li liProficiency in Salesforce and other systems such as PowerBI, Excel, and PowerPoint.
/li liFamiliarity with channel sales models and partner ecosystems.
