Sales / Business Development Manager
to lead commercial activities and develop long‑term customer relationships.
Role Overview The Sales / Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing the Italian market for the full portfolio of data centre power products. You will own the commercial strategy, drive new business, manage key accounts, and support complex project‑based solutions through local partners, consultants, and end users.
Key Responsibilities Commercial & Market Development
Develop and execute a regional sales strategy aligned to growth targets across Italy
Identify new opportunities in
data centres, colocation providers, EPCs, industrial sites, utilities, and critical‑power end users
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of UPS and power‑infrastructure projects
Key Account Management
Manage relationships with major Italian integrators, consultants, distributors, and end users
Lead tender responses, pricing proposals, and technical‑commercial negotiations
Support customers through the full project lifecycle
Develop and strengthen relationships with local
distribution partners, panel builders, and reseller channels
Train, enable, and support partners on UPS and power quality solutions
Technical & Product Engagement
Work closely with engineering teams to position solutions such as:
Three‑phase UPS
Modular UPS
Lithium‑ion battery solutions
Provide guidance to customers on design, specification, and best‑practice deployment
Monitor competitive activity
Report on local market trends, product performance, and emerging opportunities
Required Experience & Skills
5+ years sales or business development experience in
UPS, power electronics, batteries, or data centre infrastructure
Strong technical understanding of power protection and critical power solutions
Existing network across Italian
data centres, EPCs, industrial customers, or electrical channels
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding commercial targets
Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder‑management capabilities
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with
three‑phase UPS systems
and/or
lithium‑ion battery solutions
Familiarity with data centre standards, tendering processes, and solution design
Engineering degree in electrical, electronics, or related field (preferred but not required)
