Experteer Overview

In this role you drive profitable growth for Ultrapure Water (EDI & LAB) across the EMEA region, leading regional teams and shaping go-to-market and channel strategies. You will manage a high-value pipeline, collaborate with product, R&D, and operations, and represent Xylem at industry events. The position offers visibility and impact in a global, sustainability-focused business. You’ll solve complex sales challenges while advancing critical water solutions.

Retribuzione / Benefits

  • Own and deliver a regional sales growth plan with above-market, profitable expansion
  • Lead, coach and develop regional teams across EMEA
  • Execute strategic growth initiatives and commercial projects
  • Define and implement go-to-market strategies for direct sales and channel partners
  • Identify and convert new opportunities while growing key accounts
  • Develop targeted sales strategies for key verticals (Pharma, Energy, Semiconductor, Industrial Water Treatment)
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasting and robust pipeline (SIOP reporting)
  • Collaborate with Product Management, R&D, Operations, Technical Support, and Customer Service
  • Monitor market trends and competition to identify growth opportunities
  • Represent Xylem at industry events and customer engagements across EMEA and beyond
  • Drive opportunity/funnel management using CRM (Microsoft Dynamics preferred)
  • Ensure profitable deals while protecting margins
  • Prepare and present updates, forecasts, and insights to global leadership
  • Foster cross-unit collaboration to leverage synergies
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and support talent development

Responsabilità

  • 12+ years of experience in water treatment sales
  • 7–10 years of leadership in sales or BD roles
  • Proven regional leadership experience, including with Business Development Managers
  • Strong expertise in deionized/ultrapure water applications (EDI & LAB desirable)
  • Established industrial and customer networks in Pharma, Power, Semiconductor, and Industrial Water Treatment
  • Proven track record closing complex, high-value deals
  • Customer-focused with solution selling and relationship management
  • Excellent leadership, communication and presentation skills
  • High accountability and results orientation
  • CRM proficiency (ideally Microsoft Dynamics) and MS Office
  • Fluent in English and at least one additional European language
  • Willningness to travel up to 50% across EMEA
