The name Hasler is a worldwide synonymous of Swiss quality in the railway sector and is well anchored in it. HaslerRail is looking for a dynamic and motivated Sales Manager RailData. The position can be based in Verona (Italy), Madrid (Spain), or Manchester (UK).
Responsibilities
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities in international railway markets to achieve sales targets for the HaslerRail RailData products.
* Support Sales Managers in actively promoting RailData products.
* Drive HaslerRail Agents to actively promote RailData products and capabilities.
* Present and demonstrate the RailData solutions to help prospective customers understand how the solutions can address particular use cases and pain points.
* Work with selected customer accounts to promote product enhancements and upsell additional products where relevant.
* Ensure customer satisfaction for selected accounts.
* Continuously seek to understand the ‘Voice of the Customer’ from train operators’ perspectives.
* Provide market insights and feedback to the RailData software team regarding potential product enhancements.
* Maintain the HaslerRail CRM as the single source of truth for RailData opportunities to enable robust reporting and forecasting.
* Follow standard governance regarding Bid Reviews.
* Prepare and deliver compelling proposals to potential customers, showcasing our railway solutions and services.
* Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network, promote our brand, and stay updated on industry developments.
* Support Sales Team Leader and the Director of Sales & Marketing with budget and strategy when needed.
Requirements
* Engineering and/or Data Science background is advantageous.
* Proven experience in sales and business development within the railway industry or similar sectors.
* Experience in sales and business development of cloud-based software solutions is a plus.
* Strong understanding of global railway markets, technologies, and regulatory environments is a plus.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
* Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
* English native speaker or at least C1 level.
* Italian, Spanish, or other languages are a plus.
* Passionate about sales and eager to take on new challenges in the international railway market.
* Willingness to learn about customers’ businesses and develop an in-depth understanding of the rail industry.
