We are looking for a** Branch Manager** **for Italy,** The Manager, should abide by internal policies, procedures, control systems and authorities, and lead by personal example and encourage all employees to conduct their activities with; integrity; good business ethics; all applicable laws; the Company's standards and policies; and guiding principles below:
- Comply with local regulatory needs as well as with the CySEC/Consob laws and directives.
- Implement the group strategy in the local market
- Represent the company in the local market
- Maintain relationship with customers, authorities etc.
**Principle tasks & responsibilities**:
It is expected that the Branch Manager:
- shall be responsible to overview and supervise the day to day operations of the Branch and provide reporting to the Company's head office, and will attend executive meetings and collaborate with teams at group-wide level.
- shall be responsible to ensure the Branch compliance with the relevant legislation in Italy. He/she will be responsible to liaise with the Company's Compliance Officer, AML Compliance Officer and the management of the Company as regards compliance matters.
- the Compliance Function of the Company is responsible for overseeing the overall compliance of the Branch with the legislation, assist and provide guidance and training to the Branch Manager, as needed.
- compliance with the conduct of business and other obligations that fall under the responsibility of the Host Member State's Competent Authority as well as with CySEC.
- shall support the operation and administration of the company in the local market.
- shall manage relationships with counterparties and vendors in the best interest of the Company
- Locate areas of improvement and propose solutions and corrective action to ensure challenges are met but also growth opportunities are leveraged
- Share knowledge with other branches and headquarters on effective practices, competitive intelligence, business opportunities and needs
- make sure that all office requirements are in place and adequate
**Requirements**:
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Past experience in a regulated institution is a must.
- AML/Compliance or similar certification is a strong plus.
- Past experience with Consob is a strong plus.
- Ability to strategize and plan ahead.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A bachelor's degree in business management, compliance, legal or a related field.
