Position: Area Sales Manager, Italy - DE - Remote Office
Location: Remote (Home Office) in South Germany
Job Summary
We have an exciting career opportunity for an experienced Area Sales Manager to build new and existing business with accounts in Italy. The ideal candidate will have a background in field sales, be adept at managing their own time, meeting customers face-to-face, and be a confident seller. Experience in tools or electrical sectors and a good understanding of this industry are preferred.
Key Responsibilities
* Achieve monthly and annual sales targets to increase revenue and promote organic growth.
* Develop the Distribution Channel for Cleco / Apex in Italy, including:
o Presenting products and solutions to customers and prospects in Italy.
o Managing existing distributor relationships through evaluation and benchmarking.
o Identifying, developing, and negotiating with new distributors.
o Focusing the distributor network on vertical markets and differentiated products.
o Developing new customer relationships to meet sales targets.
o Handling quotations, negotiations, and order processing.
o Conducting active market research and monitoring competition and trends.
Critical Skills & Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
* 8+ years of sales experience in the industry, selling similar products (Power Tools / Electrical).
* Experience managing international distributor networks, specifically in Italy.
* Proven sales track record as an Area Sales Manager.
* Willingness to travel up to 50% within Italy and internationally.
* Fluent in Italian and English; German is a plus.
* Reside in South Germany and eligible to work in Germany.
