Job Description:
The position is responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the Product Lifecycle, including:
* Defining the product roadmap by researching and analysing market conditions, identifying key competitors and trends.
* Gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements.
* Articulating key market requirements, identifying opportunities for product innovation and enhancements.
* Working closely with engineering, sales, and marketing to meet development targets and customer satisfaction goals.
* Planning and executing strategic initiatives to develop the business by leveraging current and future technologies, ensuring alignment with the company's overall strategy and goals.
Key accountabilities:
* Define the product strategy and roadmap.
* Deliver market and product requirements.
* Develop and secure significant new initiatives impacting revenue.
* Collaborate with customers, partners, and third parties to assess partnership and licensing opportunities.
* Manage programs/projects, including beta and discovery phases, overseeing new product development activities.
* Serve as an expert on application fields and competition, supporting sales and marketing with technical knowledge.
* Enhance cross-functional collaboration and foster trust among teams.
* Liaise with advertising and PR to promote the product.
Position Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in engineering; an MBA is a plus.
* Solid experience as Product Manager or Business Developer in the food & beverage industry, on both customer and supplier sides.
* Proven success in launching components/devices to the market.
* Knowledge of industry standards in food & beverage.
* Project management skills; PMP certification is a plus.
* Effective communication skills for stakeholder interaction.
* Strong teamwork skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
* Problem-solving, strategic thinking, and data analysis skills.
* Excellent planning and organizational skills, adaptable to changing priorities.
* Availability to travel at least 50% of the time.
