Experteer Overview
As a Technical Proposals Application Engineer in the KS Commercial Team, you shape technical scopes and costs for deals, blending engineering expertise with digital capability to create value for customers. You collaborate with sales and engineering to define work scopes, assess risks, and optimize offerings. You play a key role in risk‑aware proposal generation and cost control to support successful negotiations. This role connects you with a global energy transformation effort and cross‑functional teams.
Retribuzione / Benefits
- Collaborate with the commercial manager and sales during deals negotiation to define technical scope
- Analyze technical specifications for tenders and RFQs, evaluate Scope of Supply and risk factors
- Define and prepare comprehensive Scope of Work, optimizing products/units, digital training, and performance calculations
- Develop and manage cost control of all offered services
- Identify and mitigate technical implementation risks and manage technical risk
- Coordinate with relevant functions to address deviations and requests and optimize proposals
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of ITO processes and tools with KS/Services colleagues
Responsabilità
- Bachelor in a technical field; Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred
- Familiarity with Oil & Gas Rotating Equipment and core principles (Gas Turbines, Compressors, Steam Turbines)
- Willingness to be part of a global organization and work in the Energy Transition space
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Ability to travel with short notice
- Excellent multitasking and time management skills
- Team player with strong communication and coordination abilities
