Reporting to the Group CEO, this role is specifically focused on generating new business and expanding our market presence by offering process engineering and manufacturing services for plastic injection molding parts within the automotive industry and other markets. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and developing strategies to achieve sales targets. /p pbResponsibilities /b /p ul liConducts market research to identify new business opportunities and to achieve the company’s commercial objectives /li liUses data to identify potential new business, projects sales and determines profitability /li liIdentifies and engages with potential clients, including automotive OEMs and other 2nd Tier suppliers /li liInitiates customer engagement activities, discusses new opportunities and exchanges information about them /li liConsults with potential customers to understand their needs, identifies and suggests equipment, products, or services that will meet those needs /li liProvide technical support and guidance to clients regarding process engineering and manufacturing capabilities /li liDevelops commercial plan, prepares and presents detailed proposals and quotations to potential clients. /li liPrepares quotation by utilizing your knowledge of plastic injection molding processes and automotive industry standards to effectively communicate with clients and meet their specific needs /li liNegotiates contracts and agreements to secure new business deals. /li liRepresents the company at industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events to promote our process engineering and manufacturing services. /li liGrows a network of industry contacts to generate new business leads. /li liPrepares sales budget, monitors and approves expenses /li liReviews and analyses sales and operational records and reports /li liWork with purchasing and suppliers to develop new customer opportunities /li liStays updated on industry trends, market conditions and competitor activities to identify opportunities and mitigate risks /li /ul pbYour profile /b /p ul li15 – 20 years of seniority / work experience in a similar role /li liTechnical background / Engineering Degree is evident to understand the Tier 2 process in the Automotive Industry (must have qualification) allowing you to understand the customers needs and producing innovative solutions /li liKnowledge of plastic technology is compulsory /li liExcellent communication, listening, negotiation, and presentation skills /li liAbility to break the ice and engage the customer emotionally /li liMotivated by success and growth, bringing the business home /li liYou are in the position to build on your own network in the industry with potential clients /li liProven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships /li liProficiency in market research and analysis /li liStrong organizational and time management skills /li liAbility to work independently and as part of a team in an international Matrix Organization /li /ul pbOur offer /b /p pThis role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our company in the automotive industry and beyond.
