Job Description:
The European Account Manager at UPS Healthcare is responsible for achieving their assigned sales plan by generation profitable UPS revenue through the development of new business and the retention and penetration of existing business.
The assigned portfolio exists of customers with an annual UPS spend across all products (mainly Small Package, Warehousing, Freight Forwarding, Active cold chain ground and packaging) of at least 40.000 EUR. The EAM will also manage all potential satellite locations for its customers across Europe.
Hunting for new business will need to take please in a specific postal code area. The European Account Manager will be out on the road visiting customers for the majority of the week, with a minimum requirement of 5 in-person customer meetings per week.
Skills and experience
* University degree/diploma or equivalent
* Excellent English skills both verbal and written
* Very good PC skills, specifically Microsoft Office products
* Previous experience as Account Executive and excellent sales skills demonstrated by proven track of success in sales
* Excellent interpersonal relationship skills and strong communication abilities (including written, verbal and presentation skills)
* Proactive, ambitious, confident, quick learner and uses own initiative
* Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
* Excellent organizational skills and autonomy
* Flexibility and willingness to constant and frequent moves in Italy (minimum 3 days per week) and occasionally Europe
* Healthcare sector experience preferred
