So if you are passionate about space and ready to take your ambition to new heights join us in our global mission to push the boundaries of whats possible! /p pD-Orbit is seeking a Senior Product Manager Avionics Systems to join our Technology team. /p pOperating in the Tech BU and reporting to the Head of RD Programs the Senior Product Manager will be responsible for the delivery - along with the lifecycle management - of D-Orbits avionics products ensuring successful industrialization adherence to cost quality targets and optimization throughout the entire product lifecycle. Working along with the Head of Technology this role will help define product strategy oversee execution and guarantee that performance quality and cost objectives are achieved. /p h3Key Responsibilities Tasks /h3 pProduct Delivery Strategy Roadmap /p pDeliver the Avionics products on time on budget and in quality /p pDefine and maintain the product vision strategy and roadmap for avionics systems. /p pAlign product development with company objectives and customer requirements. /p pIdentify and mitigate risks related to product development and deployment. /p pbIndustrialization Lifecycle Management /b /p pDrive the industrialization of avionics products including the definition of production testing equipment. /p pManage the full product lifecycle including upgrades obsolescence planning and end-of-life strategies. /p pbCost Budget Management /b /p pDefine cost targets and ensure achievement through design-to-cost and supplier nominations. /p pMonitor and control overall product cost and development budget (including cash in / out). /p pbCross-Functional Leadership /b /p pCollaborate with engineering manufacturing and quality teams to ensure product compliance and performance. /p pbAct as the primary interface between teams and stakeholders. /b /p pEventually coordinate PM resources delegating tasks while maintaining accountability of the outcome. /p h3Requirements /h3 pProven experience in Product development industrialization and product lifecycle management. /p pProven experience in cost budget management and design-for-excellence methodologies. /p pUnderstanding of avionics systems aerospace / or complex electromechanical products is a plus. /p pExcellent organizational and planning abilities. /p pStrong communication and negotiation skills. /p pAnalytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities. /p pAbility to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities. /p pLeadership skills to influence and align diverse teams. /p h3Preferred Qualifications /h3 pExperience managing complex hardware / software integrated products. /p pTrack record of delivering products in fast-paced innovation-driven environments. /p pPrevious involvement in cross-functional teams and supplier negotiations. /p h3Hiring Process /h3 pHeres how our hiring process workssimple and straightforward : /p ul liApplication review : We go through all applications but well only reach out to candidates who closely match what were looking for. /li liFirst chat : Selected candidates will have an initial meeting with the people team so we can get to know each other and talk through mutual expectations motivation for change and goals. /li liTechnical interviews : Next youll have one or two technical interviews focused on your skills and how you approach challenges relevant to the role. /li liOffer : If all goes well well send you an offer!
