Job Description:
A Conference and Events Sales Agent supports the sales administration for hotel events and collaborates with customers to determine their needs and foster repeat and expanded business. They work closely with the Sales team to contribute to strategy and promotional activities.
Responsibilities include:
* Maximize revenue from rooms, groups, conferences, and events through reactive selling and commercial management techniques
* Convert customer inquiries into confirmed sales
* Handle customer inquiries professionally, demonstrating high standards of customer service
* Increase sales and conversions by turning existing opportunities into confirmed bookings
* Apply up-selling techniques consistently
* Build strong customer relationships to understand their needs
* Arrange and conduct hotel show rounds
Requirements:
* Good organizational and administrative skills
* Positive attitude and effective communication skills
* High level of customer service commitment
* Confident telephone manner
* Proficiency in IT skills
* Excellent grooming standards
* Fluent in Business English
Experience in the Conference and Events department is advantageous.
