PThe Role: /ppA leading multinational company in the industrial sector is looking for an Area Sales Manager to oversee and grow its presence in the Middle East region. /ppThis role is meant to amplify the effectiveness of the Salesmen job and SoW (Share of Wallet) when calling on customers within the specific markets in the region within a model of indirect business. By focusing on customer needs and main business drivers, the Area Manager will help deliver tailored value propositions and expand the product portfolio in the region. /ppMain Responsibilities /pulliLead and coordinate sales activity within the assigned region through a distributor-based, indirect sales model. /liliManage and support a regional sales team, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and market needs. /liliAchieve assigned targets on the back of AOP. /liliMonitor and analyze market trends, competitive activity, and provide regular reporting to senior management. /liliCollaborate in defining the market strategy within a matrix organization, involving multiple internal stakeholders. /liliDrive strategic account planning and manage negotiations at all levels. /liliMaintain regular contact with key customers and distributors, planning structured and effective visits. /liliEnsure sales representatives deliver optimal product and solution mixes, maximizing the company’s presence and offering per customer. /liliIdentify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement, ensuring cost control in line with objectives. /liliApply company guidelines for contract review and ensure appropriate delegation of authority is in place. /li /ulpMinimum Qualifications: /pulliMaster’s degree in engineering or equivalent field. /liliMinimum of 10 years of experience in a similar Area Manager role. /liliProven track record in sales management within the MEA region. /liliProven track record in handling distributors, retailers, contractors. /liliFluency in English, Arabic and French (written and spoken) is required. /li /ulpKey competences: /pulliStrong business acumen and a customer-centric approach. /liliStrong understanding of the key financials KPIs /liliTarget-driven with the ability to consistently deliver results. /liliHigh resilience and effective stress management. /liliFlexible, dynamic, and proactive, with strong cultural sensitivity toward the MEA region. /liliCapable of working in complex, matrix organizations. /liliExcellent leadership and team management skills. /liliAdvanced negotiation and communication skills, including public speaking. /liliMarketing mindset: strategic planning, account development, and competitor intelligence. /liliAbility to define value propositions and set priorities based on business impact. /liliPassion for innovation, with a continuous improvement and risk-taking attitude. /liliStrong focus on Commercial Excellence. /li /ulpLocation: Italy - responsible for Middle East region /ppTravel Requirement: up to 75% /p
