Account Manager
About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Account Manager to join our team. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is eager to grow in the automotive and manufacturing sector. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will support account management activities and contribute to business growth through structured desk research and lead generation.
Responsibilities
Manage and maintain a small portfolio of existing customer accounts, ensuring high levels of service and satisfaction
Conduct desk research to identify new business opportunities, market trends, and potential clients in the automotive as well as non-automotive industry with similar needs in product development
Market prospection and development of 2 – 3 new customer accounts
Support the preparation of proposals, quotations, and presentations for prospective clients
Assist in coordinating internal resources to meet customer expectations and project timelines
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and market intelligence
Collaborate with the Business Development and Engineering teams to understand customer needs and translate them into actionable insights
Participate in trade shows, virtual events, and customer meetings as needed
Monitor competitor activity and industry developments to support strategic planning
Process owner of client overview globally.
Your profile
Engineering / technical background preferred combined with a strong commercial mindset (allowing you to understand the complex technical sales process)
From new graduate up to 5 years of experience in a commercial, sales support, or customer-facing technical sales role in an industrial environment
Strong interest in the automotive industry and manufacturing technologies
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Analytical mindset with the ability to conduct structured research and summarize findings
Self-motivated, organized, and eager to learn in a dynamic, international environment
Fluent in English is a must; German, Czech, Italian is a nice to have
