The team
The SAP Commerce Cloud Specialist will be responsible for supporting both the implementation of new projects and the ongoing maintenance of the SAP Commerce Cloud e commerce solution within the Italian business unit, while working in close collaboration with colleagues across the wider corporate organization.
This role ensures the availability of a robust, scalable, and high performing SAP Commerce Cloud platform that can meet evolving business needs and customer expectations. The specialist will contribute technical expertise throughout the entire project lifecycle—from initial planning and development to deployment and post launch support—ensuring that all solutions are aligned with company strategy, architectural guidelines, and industry best practices.
Your role
SAP Commerce Cloud: Strong understanding of SAP Commerce Cloud modules:
1. Product Content Management (PCM)
2. Backoffice
3. OMS / Order Management
4. Promotions & Pricing
5. Integrations
Functional and technical owner: Translating business needs, commercial requirements, and operational constraints into detailed, well-structured user stories and functional specifications for the development team
Platform ownership: Ensure reliability, scalability, and configuration of SAP Commerce Cloud, manage releases, patches, and upgrades
Project delivery: Lead end-to-end implementations, manage external partners and integrators
Solution & architecture: Translate business needs into scalable designs; align with S/4HANA, SAP CPI/Integration Suite, CRM, OMS, and other systems.
Performance, quality & security: Monitor and optimize performance; drive testing (regression/performance/UAT) and continuous improvements.
Operations & enablement: Provide functional/technical support; maintain documentation, deliver training
Requirements
6. Industry Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in ecommerce, digital marketing, or related fields, with a proven track record in implementing SAP Commerce Cloud projects.
7. Project Management: Demonstrated experience in leading and executing complex projects, preferably
8. Marketplace Platforms: Experience working with major ecommerce platforms,
9. SAP S/4HANA and its integrations: Basic knowledge of SAP modules such as MM and SD and their integrations with ecommerce through SAP Integration Suite.
10. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
11. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.
12. Team Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple stakeholders.
