À propos de Smart Energies Transition

Smart Energies is a fast-growing independent power producer specialized in the development, the financing, the construction and the operation of medium-sized solar projects in Europe. In September 2024, the group owns and operates more than 550 solar sites in France, Italy, Greece and Nordic countries, has 160 MWp in operation or under construction and employs 100 people. The group also develops a pipeline of storage plants in France and Italy.

Smart Energies, a mission-driven company, mainly develops projects on already artificialized land such as buildings, parking lots or small polluted plots, with strong local economic impact for the thousands of farmers, landlords, SMEs and craftsmen who are part of the adventure.

Smart Energies has just raised (May 2024) €87 million to accelerate its development, enabling the future construction of more than 1,000 projects over the next 4 years in Europe. This new round of financing shows the quality of the teams and will enable the company to step up the deployment of its strategy, which is unique in Europe, based on medium-sized solar and storage projects with a minimum land footprint.

In this context of strong development, Smart Energies is strengthening its international team and is recruiting a Project Developer within its Italian team based in Brescia (Italy).


Le poste

The resource will independently manage orders related to the installation of photovoltaic systems for industrial customers, following all phases related to the design and budgeting of the systems. Specifically, he/she will be responsible for:

Project development and management of development partnerships:

* Management of project development: feasibility study, management of the authorization process and coordination with the technical department;

* Evaluation of project and SPV acquisition opportunities;

* Contracting with the various parties involved in the project (development contract, partnership, etc.)

* Rigorous analysis of the tax and legal contexts in the project development phases;

* Financial modeling and management of a budget in the internal development phase or with co-developers;

* Management of external studies necessary for the development of a project (structural study, network integration, environmental impact, geotechnical and topographic studies, etc.)

* Search for potential partners and follow-up of a network of itinerant salespeople;

* Obtain authorizations and licenses;

Operational:

* Assist the International Project Manager-Italy in all his tasks, namely the development, financing, acquisition and management of energy generation activities;

* Management of technical, legal, financial suppliers, etc;

* Facilitate relations with partner companies;

* Studies on the performance of photovoltaic projects;

Funding:

* Preparation of application packages;

* Production of presentation materials and fundraising.


Profil recherché

* Master's degree in management engineering or economics;

* Experience: 3-4 years in the development of photovoltaic projects;

* Ability to work in a team, independent management and motivation to grow in a highly dynamic environment;

* The ideal candidate is able to work on multiple projects at the same time, is oriented towards respecting deadlines and determined;

* Availability for flexible working hours based on travel to construction sites and a good dose of operational concreteness are essential;

* Knowledge and use of the Office package and in particular Excel;

* Languages: Italian and English at a technical level required, French appreciated.
